Earn park privileges while helping guests have a safe, enjoyable experience on park trails and at special events and races. Three Rivers Park District is recruiting year-round Park Patrol volunteers. Trail fees are waived for patrollers while on duty.

Residents, media, delegates and visitors are invited to sign up now to run, bike and swim in the More to Tri presented by Life Time Fitness triathlon, a free three-day fitness event being held during the Republican National Convention. Mayor R.T. Rybak will participate in the triathlon, and the events will take participants through some of Minneapolis’ most scenic destinations: along Minnehaha Creek, over the Stone Arch Bridge and across Lake Calhoun. The event is free to residents and visitors, registration spots are still available.
